Closing LLP

LLP stands for limited liability partnerships. To close the LLP, a resolution needs to be filed to the registrar within 30 days of its passing. Once the resolution is submitted then all the partners need to send declaration that the LLP does not have any debts or if any then the LLP is in position to pay all the debts within time. Then the statements of assets, liability for the period from the closure of the last account to winding up of the LLP need to be submitted within 15 days after resolution. The documents should be attested by at least two partners of the LLP.

We will file a resolution along with the declarations of the partners to complete the procedure as soon as possible. Apart from that indemnity bonds and affidavit is required that states that all the information is correct.

Once all the shared information is verified correctly then the registrar publishes a notice on the website that remains on the website for one month.

After one month, the registrar will remove the registered LLP and then publish the news in the official gazettes.
